After collecting cars for several years, a couple of the owners decided to open a dealership and thus, American Classics and Hot Rods was born. Here (301 West First Street) you can buy, sell, and consign classic cars and hot rods without the pressure of regular dealerships. And with between 50 and 60 cars on site, there is something for everyone. When I last went, they had a 1928 Nash 340 Special Six, which is one of only three known in existence!
I am fascinated by almost anything vintage, whether that be music, fashion or cultural norms, but cars in particular. I think it is so interesting how the designs have evolved over the years, not to mention how photogenic they are, so naturally when I found out that a classic car showroom had opened in Newberg, I had to go check it out.
I think you should too! American Classics and Hot Rods is such a fun place to go, whether you're looking to start your own classic car collection or simply to take a trip through a time machine. They've got beautiful cars from nearly every decade, you could spend hours in there just admiring the designs and wondering about what it was like to live in the time when that car was main steam, I know I sure did.
